Creek Haven Retreat

Creek Haven Retreat is dedicated to providing space for individuals and groups to find peace and spiritual restoration.

Located in a gorgeous valley just five miles north of Halifax, Pennsylvania, there are beds for 22 persons and kitchen service for 24. The spacious property includes a new garage with ping-pong and pool tables. The barn has basketball and volleyball courts. Outside, you can find a volleyball court, fire ring, and plenty of extra space for croquet and bocce ball, which are provided. A beautiful creek winds through the 90-acre retreat farm with opportunities for creek walks, fishing, and silent meditation.

Places of Interest Nearby include: Weiser State Forest, Susquehanna River Boat Ramp in Halifax, Appalachian Trail, Lake Tobias Wildlife Park, and Camp Hebron.

Upstairs

Our fully restored, 1820s farmhouse and retreat center has six sleeping areas and 5 bathrooms. The eat-in kitchen has service for 24. This unique getaway is perfect for a youth group, small group, pastoral team or extended family. It has abundant inside and outside space to accommodate an active weekend or a meditative silent retreat.

Four large bedrooms on second floor have space for 15 and two additional rooms on first floor can be converted to sleeping areas with space for 7 more people.

The Creek Room has a queen (sleeps 2) and its own half-bath.

The Shade Room has a queen bed and two bunks (sleeps 4).

The Harvest Room has 2 bunk sets and sleeps 5.

The Meadow Room has a queen bed and a futon (sleeps 4).

A full bath is available in the upstairs hallway.

In addition to the four large bedrooms on second floor, there are two additional rooms on first floor that can easily be converted to sleeping spaces for 7 additional people.

The Library downstairs has a futon and sleep sofa and its own half-bath (sleeps 3).

The Oak Room downstairs has a day bed and futon with a handicap accessible full bath (sleeps 4).

The fully restored, large eat-in Kitchen has service for 24.

The large Living Room has a flat screen TV and DVD player as well as additional space for eating inside.

The Veranda serves as the rear entrance and is fully winterized with a full bath and a gorgeous view of the mountains. The entrance and first floor are handicap accessible.
